Customization Capabilities
I need a non-standard bearing that is not in your catalog. Can you make it?
Of course. Non-standard customization is our core competency. Our strong R&D team and flexible production lines are designed to meet customers' unique and challenging needs.
What aspects of a bearing can you customize?
We can provide comprehensive customization, including but not limited to: special inner/outer diameters, widths; special materials (e.g., high-temperature steel, stainless steel); special coatings (e.g., our patented electrically insulated coating); special internal structures (cages, seals), and precision grades.
I only have a sample or a sketch. Can you customize based on that?
Absolutely. You can send us a sample for measurement analysis (reverse engineering), or provide your design sketch. Our engineers will use this as a basis to complete the professional product drawing design and production for you.
Customization Process
What is the complete process for customizing a new bearing?
The process is as follows: 1) Requirements communication: You provide technical requirements; 2) Proposal and quotation: Our engineers evaluate and provide a technical proposal and quote; 3) Drawing confirmation: We provide formal drawings for your approval and signature; 4) Sample production: We produce samples for your testing; 5) Mass production: After the samples are confirmed, we arrange for mass production and delivery.
How long does it take from the request to receiving the sample?
This depends on the complexity of the design. Typically, after drawing confirmation, the production lead time for a sample is about 4-6 weeks. We will provide you with a clear timeline at the beginning of the project.
Do I have to confirm the sample before mass production?
Yes, this is a necessary step. We insist on receiving your written test approval of the sample before proceeding with mass production. This ensures the final bulk products fully meet your expectations and serves as a guarantee for both parties.
Custom Lead Time & MOQ
What is the typical lead time for a custom order?
The total lead time for a custom product (from order placement to receipt) will be longer than for a standard product. The specific time will be provided with the quote. We are known for our commitment to delivery times and will strictly adhere to the promised schedule.
Is there a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom services?
Yes. Since custom products require separate molds, tooling, and production scheduling, there is an MOQ requirement to ensure production is economical. The specific MOQ depends on the bearing's size and complexity, and we will state it clearly in the quote.
If my need is very urgent, can you expedite a custom order?
We are willing to do our best to meet urgent customer needs when conditions permit. Expedited service may incur additional fees. Please inform us of your desired delivery date when requesting a quote, and we will evaluate the possibility of an expedited schedule.
Custom Service Policy
What are the payment terms for custom orders?
Unlike standard orders, custom orders usually require a higher percentage of prepayment (e.g., 50%) to initiate mold development and raw material procurement. The balance is paid before shipment.
Can I modify the design or cancel the order after it has been initiated?
Once drawings are confirmed and production begins, any design modification may result in changes to costs and lead times. Order cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment. Therefore, we strongly recommend a thorough review during the drawing confirmation stage.
Can custom products truly not be returned at all?
Yes, we ask for your understanding. Because these products are tailor-made for you, we cannot sell them to any other customer. Therefore, all custom orders are final sales and are not subject to our standard return and exchange policy. We will confirm with you at every step of production to ensure the final product is exactly what you want.
If we provide design drawings for custom products, how do you protect our Intellectual Property (IP)?
We have the utmost respect for and strictly protect our customers' intellectual property. Before a project begins, we can sign a legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). All your drawings, designs, and business information will only be used for producing your order and will never be disclosed to any third party.
